Purpose

The purpose of MAJHA GHAR Foundation is Two-Fold

- To give a home, hope and happiness to the homeless, helpless, destitute, oppressed, abandoned, mentally and physically sick, injured, infected people in the 18- 100 year category.
  - - We want to create a provision for 2000 such people who will be provided food, shelter, clothing, medicines, care and other required
  - - Medical treatment(s) like surgeries, etc, completely free of charge.
  - - These people are generally found on railway stations, bus stands, on the roads, religious and other public places in very unhygienic, critically diseased and painful environments. Usually, in such situations, nobody comes forward to let alone help them, but even touch them!
  - - Because of lack of food, medicine, and care, their condition becomes more and more precarious, and they slowly inch towards a painful and lonely death.
  - - Our eorts will be to reduce their pain, save their lives, and nurse them back to health by giving them a homely environment.
  - - After their recovery, the organization will rehabilitate them in various ways, so that they can lead a life of respect and dignity and stand on their own two feet in the mainstream of society.
  - - We have tied up with APNA GHAR ashram, Bharatpur, for this initiative.
- To provide a loving and caring home for orphans, street children and other children living in abusive environments.
  - - The organization will tie up with like-minded organizations like BACHPAN BACHAO ANDOLAN of Shri Kailashji Satyarthi and SAATHI (Society for Assistance to children in dicult situations) of Shri Pramodji Kulkarni.
  - - These children will be provided food, clothing, shelter and education free of cost, to give them a proper ecosystem to thrive in and thereby, sculpting their future into becoming responsible, aware citizens of the country.
  - - We intend to create a provision for 1500 such children.

Children Home

MAJHA GHAR foundation ashram will also build a loving and caring home for 2000 orphans, street and other distressed children and provide them with all necessary support and ecosystem in the form of food, residence, education, medical needs, love, care and guidance so as to sculpt their future to become responsible and dignified citizens of the country.

The ashram will not refuse admission to any child, regardless of their mental or physical disability, caste, creed or nationality.

The emphasis will be on educating them to their ability and willingness. They will be supported and encouraged to study upto any and all levels to become doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, architects, civil servants, MBA’s and PHD’s.

This home will cater to the age group of 0 to 18 years.

The financial support and hand holding will be continued by MAJHA GHAR foundation even beyond attaining 18 years until they are able to stand on their own feet with dignity.

Proposed Constructed Area: 6 LAKH SQUARE FEET
Land Cost: Rs 15 CRORE
Estimated Construction Cost: 70 CRORE
Hospital, Lab and Physiotherapy, op. Theater, Building and Equipments: 12 CRORE
Estimated furnishing and facilities cost for 6 lakh square feet: 25 CRORE
Estimated running cost (first 3 years): 28 CRORE
Total estimated cost of project: 150 CRORE
